Sabina Gendron was born in Baku, Azerbaijan. Since the age of eighteen, she has traveled all around the world. In 2002, Sabina settled in Toronto, Canada. But her love of traveling could not keep her in one place for too long. In 2012, Sabina quit her career as a 3D animator to backpack around the world. Her encounter with a shaman in the Amazon jungles inspired Sabina to start writing her debut fantasy novel, "Road Home." 

These days, Sabina resides in Vienna, Austria, with her husband and two children.
