Olivia is a stenographic court reporter and captioner with a degree in English and a creative writing graduate diploma. You can usually find her writing or reading or poking balls at a pool table. She is the second-place winner of the 2012 Toronto Star Short Story Contest for her story "After Red." Originally from the small town of Kemptville, Ontario, she lives in Ottawa with her three cats. Just to Be Seen is her debut novel.
