Orla Drummond is a Scottish Writer and Artist who currently resides in Glasgow. When she's not enjoying a cup of tea or scribbling her thoughts, she can usually be found curled up with a sketchbook or enjoying a good read. Growing up, her interests included classic literature; poetry, fantasy books and theatre as well as music and animated films. Her passion for these subjects have continued well into adulthood.

Orla attended St Bartholomews Primary School and later Notre Dame High School. During her childhood, she spent time at the ‘Mamie's Weans’ drama group where she was encouraged to develop her artistic and writing skills.

Orla is a former student of the Glasgow Acting Academy; Glasgow Kelvin College,  Glasgow Clyde College and the University of the West of Scotland.
