Ramune was born in Montreal, moved to England when she was 10, and returned to Canada 34 years later. She has degrees in Sociology and Sculpture with Ceramics, and a Creative Writing Diploma from Humber College. Last year she was a finalist in the New Voices First Novel Competition. She was long listed for both the Cinnamon Literature Award and the Flash 500 Novel Opening Competitions, and Coming of Age…Again was a finalist in the Page Turner Awards. Ramune’s first short story was recently published in a Toronto-based anthology. She has worked as a magazine editor, TV scriptwriter specializing in “talking head” documentaries, visual artist, educator, and abundance coach. Ramune now writes and makes visual art in her studio near Peterborough, Ontario.
