Carolin Staats-Binder
Carolin Staats-Binder was born and grew up in Brunswick, Germany, where she worked as a linguist at the University of Brunswick after completing her post secondary education as a foreign language correspondent in 1987. Her husband, a native Calgarian, brought her to Canada where she raised a family of four sons. Carolin eventually started her own business as a foreign language tutor in 1996. In 2012, she embarked on a full-time career in aviation. In 2023, Carolin completed her MLCP (Master Life Coaching Professional) with IAP Career College, including a separate course as an End-of-Life Doula, both of which will give her a new direction on a part-time basis.

With her newest creation “Paris 1984 - The Drifter”, Carolin has begun a series of travel accounts with a twist, set in the Europe of the 1980s.
